Washing towelling fabrics before first use begins the 'breaking in' process. Several washes are required for towels to achieve their maximum absorbency, softness and fluff.
To help your towels keep their colour, use a colour-safe detergent, and also keep them away from bleaches, oils, facial creams containing benzoyl peroxide and strong direct sunlight. If you use fabric conditioner, use only a tiny amount and not in every wash otherwise the towel's absorbency is reduced.
Tumble dry your towels with 2 tennis balls in the machine to get them extra soft and fluffy! Always read the care label before laundering. These instructions have been carefully compiled to ensure that you get the best use from your towels.
