The White Company raises funds for Childline this Christmas

This Christmas The White Company will help raise much-needed funds for one of the UK’s most important children’s charities, ChildLine, through the sale of several gorgeous items in its Little White Company collection.

ChildLine is the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counselors comfort, advise and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn.

From every Little White Company White fleece stocking with Pink heart(£10) or Red fleece stocking with White star (£10) sold, £1 will be donated to ChildLine. For every Quilted Tia Stocking (£14) sold, £2 will be donated. Also for all Fairy or Elf greeting card pack(£4 for 6) bought 50 pence will be donated to ChildLine. Finally, in the adult range, for all men and women’s stockings(£10) £1 will be donated.

“We are delighted to be supporting ChildLine for the second year, we raised over £20,000 for them last year” says Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company, and a mother of four. “It’s a charity that reaches out to so many children who have nowhere else to turn.”

Almost 1,400 volunteers provide a counseling service, supervised by a team of professional supervisors and managers. Every day around 4,500 children call ChildLine.

“It’s a great charity that makes a very serious difference to a lot of children” Chrissie says.

The White Company makes Christmas entertaining an elegant affair

Chrissie Rucker offers her tips on how to make the season truly special

The art of entertaining usually takes years of practice but The White Company has made it all easy this Christmas with a gorgeous selection of tableware and accessories, plus everything you need in between to make guests feel at home and welcome.

“Christmas is the one time of year I really love going to town on decorating my home and laying the best possible looking table.” says Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company.

Setting the Table
“The key to make your table look beautiful is to pick a colour theme and stick to it,” Chrissie says. “Don’t overdo it with too many different colours.”

This year, The White Company offers two gorgeous and distinct looks with which to dress the your Christmas table.
