The White Company gives the utility and laundry rooms the Spring treatment

Utility and laundry rooms get beautiful treatment from The White Company for spring 2007.

“I always love it when spring arrives, because I can pack away my winter woollies to make room for lighter textures and fabrics that breathe spring back into my home and wardrobe,” says Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company. “

The big story in the laundry room is the new and flowery Fleur Laundry Collection, which has four really useful, cotton essentials to brighten up any laundry room. The range includes an Ironing Board Cover(£20), Appliquéd Peg Bag (£10), Liner for Willow Laundry Basket(£10), Gingham Door Stop (£14), Liner for Small Water Hyacinth Basket (£10) and a Liner for Large Water Hyacinth Basket (£12).

“Everybody tidies away their winter clothes in spring so we have our ever popular Cotton Storage Bags(from £8) but we have added a few laundry essentials,” says Chrissie.

She is referring to the smart Laundry Sorter (£125) which organises laundry easily with two bags on one wheelie shelf, as well as the Laundry Rail (£45), which is a great wash-day helper: hang up clothes as you iron or hang delicates straight from the machine. There is also a new set of robust Cotton Storage Boxes (from £10 to £18) that will help stylishly store seasonal clothes, spare blankets and bed linen.
