have worn these for years so I know they are great - was drawn to the colour.

This review is actually about the mushroom coloured pair. Have bought lots of pairs of these socks over the years. Unfortunately the mushroom pair were a gift. The recipient had already previously been given a light blue pair which were great. This was not the case with the mushroom pair. Within less than three weeks one sock had completely gone over the heel area. Yes, they’d been worn with slippers as have other pairs, but never directly on the floor. Customer service response was very poor. I am now very reluctant to purchase any more from WC and have already found another company to buy a replacement pair for the recipient
