Introducing: Verde

Our new, vibrant scent captures the optimistic essence of the season: a fresh start for spring.

The inspiration

The start of a new season always evokes a feeling of endless possibilities – new year, new plans, a sense of renewal and new confidence. As we look forward to spring, our focus shifts to the color green, and the return of nature. For our new fragrance, Verde, we’ve focused on this color and its vibrant, refreshing properties, as well as its positive influence on the mind.

The power of green

Green is a calming color. That might seem obvious, with its association with forests and plants – if we love nature, of course we love green. But our connection is deeper than that. It’s the color in the middle of the visible spectrum, at around 555 nanometers, halfway between blue and red. And that means that it’s the easiest color for the human eye to perceive. That calming feeling is not just about its bounteous associations, it’s physically serene to look at.

The notes

Originating from East Asia, shiso leaf is a forest-green herb with a lemony taste aromatic brightness. It’s combined with the zingy citrus notes of sparkling bergamot and a dash pink pepper, bringing vibrancy into the mix. The scent is softened with comforting tonka bean and a warming amber base.

The moments

The dappling sunlight, delicate blossoms and more time spent outdoors. Kick off the first of alfresco dinners and set the scene with a warming candlelight glow at the table. And for letting the mind relax and wander, and to leave skin feeling revitalized, retreat to your at-home spa with our bath and body treats.
