A little bit of history
It all began in 1993... At the time, the few white items I could find and afford were somehow all such cheap designs and of average or poor quality. All the gorgeous, high-quality ones I loved were only to be found in the designer departments and of course, with the designer label came the snooty sales assistant and the high price tag!
So I set on a mission to create a company that specialised in supplying stylish, white, designer quality items for the home that were affordable. In addition, a company that made its customers feel welcome and provided a shopping experience that was second to none.
Today, the company that began its life as a 12 page mail order brochure has become one of the UK's fastest-growing, award-winning multi-channel retailers.
We work hard to make sure we send out exciting new brochures throughout the year, we operate a highly successful website and have opened beautiful stores throughout the UK.
I firmly believe that our founding values have made The White Company what it is today. And most importantly, while we continue to deliver these values, our customers have come to know and trust us enough to return time and time again.

Product range
At the heart of our product range remains essentials for the linen cupboard - duvet covers, pillows, fitted sheets and luxury towels in timeless, stylish white with some signature colour pieces introduced from season to season. After many years in the linen business there is very little we haven't tried and tested, but in reality it is pretty simple. We only use high quality cotton and fine yarn, we insist on impeccable finishing and we never forget the important little details that make our products so special. A bed dressed in White Company linen looks beautiful, is inviting and you know without a doubt you will have a good night's sleep in the glorious soft sheets.
Moving naturally from beautiful linen, we added luxury duvets, perfect pillows, bedspreads, blankets and throws. You wanted beautiful elegance throughout your home so we brought you a range of practical and stylish accessories including laundry and storage baskets, white wooden hangers and beautiful bathroom ceramics. We created a simply stunning range of china and tableware for every day use or to create the perfect table for that special dinner party.
We started by selling beautifully soft white bathrobes to compliment our towels but you asked us to expand the clothing range and our clothing has now become an eagerly awaited part of our range. Every season we bring you a collection of stylish, versatile, easy classics that work together to give effortless style to any wardrobe. Elegant daywear and luxurious yet comfortable nightwear are proving to be favourites year after year.
And let's not forget The Little White Company - our range of children's and baby wear, bedding, toys and gifts has proved so successful it now not only has its own catalogue but we have whole stores devoted to the little ones!
