Very pleased with our new duvet. Soft cosy warm and light replacement for a previous white company duvet

After 3 days of airing the duvet still smelt horribly fishy/greasy. Returned as faulty and given a full refund. It’s a shame because the duvet felt a lovely weight, and I’ve bought several from the WC in the past and they’ve been perfect. This is my second attempt this September at finding a decent feather duvet for guests, after John Lewis. I suspect both companies might have gone onto using cheaper feathers, as the horrible fishy/greasy smell was the same across both. I’m looking at wool duvets now instead, but wouldn’t bar a return to WC duvets at some point if they sort this issue out.
