Bought the cloud colour — it’s more beige than in photos — was expecting an off white. Disappointing.

This is a lovely lightweight quilt that is classic in style and will go with modern or traditional decor. I love the colour which I can only describe as in the ivory/cream/beige range but with no yellow tones, which is just what I was looking for. With a couple of cushions it makes our bed look neat and pretty during the day and I remove it when we go to bed at night. When winter arrives, if it’s a very cold night, I might leave it on. The quality is great and the size is generous. We have a king size bed but I chose the double size and it covers the bedding without trailing on the floor at the corners etc. I haven’t washed it yet but the fact that it is washable was quite important to me.

I was looking for a lighter alternative to a duvet and this has fitted the bill. I had initially ordered the “Kingsize/Super kingsize” as I have a kingsize sleigh bed but I found it was just too big and trailed on the floor either side of the bed so i returned it and got the double quilt size and it is perfect and no shortage of coverage when 2 people are in bed. A beautiful quilt and an elegant colour.
