Our classic boyfriend shirt reinvented as a beach cover-up, with the familiar dropped shoulders, box pleat on the back yoke and a stepped, curved hem for a clean finish. Made with breathable ramie fabric that softens with each wash. There are so many ways to wear this easy dress, with button-and-tab sleeves for adjustable length and a full-length placket you can style as a dress or leave open for a more casual beach cover-up.
Ramie is a natural fibre, similar to linen flax. It makes a smooth, lightweight, plant-derived fabric, that can be woven very sheer and fine. It has many of the same qualities as linen – durable, breathable and moisture-wicking (ideal for warm weather) and it softens the more you wash and wear it. The nature of the fabric means it’s prone to creasing, but we love this casual, worn-in look.
